Timberwood Church has two membership categories: Church Member and Seasonal Member. Unless specified otherwise in the Constitution, the term "Member" refers to both Church Member and Seasonal Member.
Requirements for Church Members are:
A statement of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and evidence of a desire to honor God in their Christian life.
A fundamental understanding of Christian doctrine and belief.
A statement indicating agreement with the Statement of Faith and Covenant of Timberwood Church.
An agreement to abide by Timberwood Church policies on Member discipline.
Concurrent membership in no other church.
Requirements for Seasonal Members are:
A statement of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and evidence of a desire to honor God in their Christian life.
A fundamental understanding of Christian doctrine and belief.
A statement indicating agreement with the Statement of Faith and Covenant of Timberwood Church.
An agreement to abide by Timberwood Church policies on Member discipline.
Membership participation distinctions are:
A Church Member may vote on all matters that are subject to approval by the membership of Timberwood Church and may serve in any capacity in the ministry of Timberwood Church.
A Seasonal Member may vote on all matters that are submitted for a vote to the Members of Timberwood Church, except to amend the Articles of Incorporation or the Constitution of Timberwood Church or extend a call to a candidate to serve as Senior Pastor. Seasonal Members may serve in any capacity in the ministry of Timberwood Church, except as called staff.
