Opportunities to Serve

At Timberwood Church we have a strong desire to work together as one body. We encourage all regular attendees to worship one hour and serve one hour. Worship 1, Serve 1 is designed to build community with one another and ultimately Christ. 

 Volunteer opportunities are flexible and fun! See the list of opportunities below. Then we invite you to fill out the volunteer interest form and a ministry team lead will reach out to you to discuss more!

Available Areas to Serve

Programs that focus on providing support, care and love to individuals and families within the congregation and community. Care ministries at Timberwood Church include but are not limited to:

If you're interested in getting involved with a care ministry or you are in need of assistance, please contact Amy LaBarre at amy.labarre@timberwood.org.

Offers varying levels of assistance to individual (children and adults), allowing participation in Sunday Services and Wednesday programs.

Responsible for cleaning the carpets throughout the church twice a year. The Worship Center is cleaned annually after the Thanksgiving Service.

Offers the opportunity to care for Timberwood’s children on Sunday mornings, or Wednesday nights during the school year.

Responsible for cleaning church gathering spaces, classrooms and facilities.

Welcomes everyone into church or the Worship Center each Sunday morning at Timberwood.

Welcomes visitors with a hot cup of coffee and pastries on Sunday mornings. Also help with events throughout the year when needed.

Available Sunday mornings to welcome visitors, answer questions and assist in registration with Timberwood events and classes.

Perfect for those who enjoy cooking and delivering meals to families during a time of need.

Responsible for coming in once a week to mow the grass.

Gather together on Wednesday mornings to pray for requests from the week.

Hang out, play games, worship and lead students (6th - 12th grade) on Wednesday nights.
