Summer on the Lawn

Wednesday Night Youth Group wraps up every May and we take the summer off from regular programming. But we can't go three months without seeing each other! Timberwood hosts Summer on the Lawn in the backyard so our youth can still continue to connect even when regular programming isn't running. Socialize, play games, snack and enjoy time together with friends!

Monday, June 29, 2026, 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Summer on the Lawn: Summer Kickoff: a night of games, hanging out, and food in the back of Timberwood Church. 

Wednesday,  July 22, 2026,  6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Summer on the Lawn: Water Blast: a night of water games, hanging out, and food in the back of Timberwood Church. 

Monday, August 31, 2026, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Summer on the Lawn: End of Summer Bash: A night of food, fellowship, and night games to help us gear up for the next year of programming.

Youth Mission Trips

Timberwood Church believes in supporting the communities around us on Sundays and beyond. We are proud to offer youth mission trips that allow our students to honor God through serving. Learn more about the missions that Timberwood has to offer.

Wednesday Nights

Wednesday Night Youth Group runs September to May. The format of a Wednesday night from week to week is very similar, most times starting with snack and fellowship in our great hall. Then the night begins with group play in our gymnasium - swamp ball, tag, and dodgeball still being some of the favorites! 

 After active time is done, we gather to hear God's word - this is lead by our Family Ministry Director, a guest speaker, or by youth leaders. The final 30 minutes of every night is spent in small discussion groups divided according to grade level. Each grade has a quiet space to discuss questions about the Bible passage presented and allow each student to open up with their peers and experience God together. 

Wednesday, May 13, 2026 is last night of all Wednesday Night Programming until Fall 2026.

Youth Retreats

Our active youth program doesn't just stay within the walls of Timberwood. Twice a year, Fall and Spring, we offer youth retreats to a local camp where we spend the weekend in God's word, singing and dancing together, and of course, lots of awesome camp activities. The camp experience pairs fun and the goodness of God in the best way creating lasting learning for our youth.
